I work in a small business that often produces marketing
materials for its promotion. My boss is ready to pay up to $500 for t-shirts,
mugs or caps for promotional products, even though we already have an employed
designer. This has been going on for several years, but recently I found GoMage
Product designer. We made a one-time purchase that I’m sure will serve us for a
long time.
GoMage Product designer is an extension for Magento. It will
offer you really cool features to brand different products. So, basically, in
very simple manner and very fast you will be able to create your own branded
products that you can use for different purposes.
GoMage uses HTML5 and CSS in order to edit and design the
desired products. It has numerous different features that will make the
designing much easier and a more enjoyable job. There are already pre-installed
clipart and shapes that you can use in different colors and variations. You can
also add text and effects to your text, so you can make your product much more
compelling. You can add pricing to the products as well, if you plan to sell
them.
You can choose from a wide range of colors and you choose
the size of the product. That is one of the pros that we really liked, because
we need products in different sizes and colors. Because we use Magento as well,
I got to say that GoMage Product Designer is flawlessly integrated with it.
The extension is really easy to install and even if you have
some hard times installing or using it, you can contact the support team any time.
They are really responsive, I contacted them for one issue I had and got the
response and the solution very fast. However, maybe the only con is that it
doesn’t support Magento versions that are lower than 1.4. Also, you can’t use
it with Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8, but that was surely not big problem for
us.
