Game of the Day – Flick the Chick
12:13 PM
Adventure, Android, Android and Apps, Android Applications, Arcade, Game of the Day
Flick Chick is excellent 2D game that you can enjoy on your
Android devices. Its integration with the newest Android version, Android
KitKat 4.4, make the game available to the newest smartphones and tablets.
Flick the Chick is great adventure game in which the main hero is the blue and
cool looking chick. However, even the gameplay is simple and you can easily navigate the blue bird, the game is relatively hard and it requires certain level of good skills and technique. That makes the game interesting and competitive.
The goal of the game is to pass through the yellow circles
that have different position. The interesting sound effects make the game even
more entertaining and relaxing. I love how you can play Flick the Chick with
one hand. It is a great time killer that I believe will achieve great success
on Google Play. Try Flick the Chick, it is free and available on Google Play.

Instagram is one of the most popular social photo networks out there. We all know it is great, but it's getting kinda boring. So, today hightechholic will present you one fresh, new and interesting app that is kinda similar to the social media giant's app. I said similar, but Rateism is different in many aspects. Rateism will let you rate all kinds of different photos that you find on the Internet and it will let you upload any kind of photos that other users can rate and comment to.
Your feed is consisted from only things that interest you and from the photos of your friends. You will see the top rated pictures on your feed, so you can rate them as well, or comment on them. However, there are additional categories like "New" and "Top" that will surely make your time on this app much more entertaining.
The pictures that you upload can be rated by your friends and anybody who opens your profile or the category to which your picture belongs. Also, you can rate every picture from 1 to 10. You can comment on it as well and send it to your friends. The developers even integrated chat, so you can speak to your friends or other people. So, like I said this is fresh, unique and innovative social network that will be some kind of refreshment in the Internet and Android world.
The UI of the app is flawless. Everything is intuitive and beautifully arranged. The design and the speed this app are really amazing. On top of that the app is free and you will not even recognize that there are any ads at all. Try Rateism here, I'm sure you will have entertaining time!

7:06 AM
Android and Apps, Reviews
Most of the times finding a parking spot is really frustrating. That is fact, especially in the urban areas with a lot of buildings and crazy traffic. So, hightechholic.com today decided to present you one app that will resolve all your parking problems.
ParkWhiz is free transportation app that is available on Google Play. The app will enable you to save time and money with their in-app booking. Practically, this app guarantees you a spot in the 2000 locations that they cover across the United States. Isn't that great? You will know the price and you will be assured that you will have where to park your car. That is especially important if you go to some big event, like concert or sport game.
The app works in a very simple manner. It recognizes your Location, or you can enter desired location, and it will show you all parking places near that location. It will also include the prices, so you can select the price that suits you the most. After you choose certain parking spot and the time you will park your car there, it will give you information about the parking lot and it will explain its location in details.
The app offers special online rates, which will save you money. You can pay with mobile passes and you will need to place that ParkWhiz mobile pass on the dashboard. Then a patrolling attendant will validate your parking.
It is simple as that. Simple, but very helpful and useful app. If you are from USA, then try ParkWhiz Android parking app for free.

Google Sound Search becomes strong competitor to Shazam and SoundHound
11:12 AM
Android, Android and Apps, Applications, Google Play, Google Sound Search, Jelly Bean, Shazam, SoundHound
It seems like Shazam and SoundHound will get a strong competitor in the Google Sound Search widget.
This widget, until now, was only available for devices powered by Jelly Bean - which are a very small number of devices in the entire Android system.
Because of this, the Sound Search was not able to catch enough momentum to counter SoundHound and Shazam, so the phones on which this widget was used was very little.
Google has finally realized this and enabled to users with devices that run on Android 4.0 or higher, to download Sound Search.
This widget possesses a slight advantage compared to competitors because it connects the user directly to the music in the Play Store, given that everything is in Google. It also allows synchronization of search history with other devices, so it is possible to identify the track out of the house and download it from the tablet when you get back home.
