Google today announced that there are 500 million Android devices activated, according to Cnet.
"Today is a big day for Android... 500 million devices activated globally, and over 1.3 million added every single day," said Hugo Barra, Director of Product Management for Android at Google.
Back in June, at the Google I/O conference, Barra said that there were 400 million Android devices activated, and a record of million activations each day.
In addition, on his Google Plus page, he posted a photo of the "fixed" Jelly Bean statue, as the old was damaged last summer.
