Sony Walkman on Android

Sony has announced a new device from the Walkman line of products, the player F800.

The player with 3.5-inch screen will work on Android 4.0, and will be available in versions with 8, 16 or 32GB memory.

People from Sony are saying that users can expect 20 hours of battery life for audio playback and 4.5 hours in the case of video material.

"Made for music lovers, by music lovers," as is stated in the official press release, this player have an LCD screen,  dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and because it works on Android, the applications from Google Play are available.

This sounds good, but the price for the 8 GB model doesn't. Sony F800 with 8GB memory will cost you $279. For a little more money you can get Nexus 7, and you'll get a tablet with much better specifications
