‘247SOS’ has captured the attention of the industry for its technologies that combine self-defense functions with the smartphones that people carry with them daily, as there have been growing concerns about safety issues and the need to prevent various crimes against women, as well as a rising interest in self-defense products.

‘247SOS’ sends an alarm signal immediately when the app is launched during an emergency, and calls 112 and any designated contacts to report that the user is in an emergency situation. In addition, the smartphone’s camera is automatically activated and starts recording, and the image is sent to a security company together with the location.

Prior to this, 247 USA also released its self-defense smartphone case, the‘VOLT CASE’. ‘VOLT CASE’ includes a small electric shocker and can be utilized as an effective means of self-defense. To prevent misuse, the electric shocker can be operated using only the registered security unlocking method.

When the ‘247SOS’ app is used together with a case, its effects are maximized. But even without the case, if the user enters his or her personal information and applies for rescue services, a report can be send automatically in the event of an emergency.

Meanwhile, an Indiegogocrowdfunding campaign for ‘VOLT CASE’ will launch October 17, and it is also planned to hold free limited edition ‘VOLT CASE’ events for overseas fans through the official Facebook page.

Currently, ‘247SOS’ is available for free download on Google Play, and can be used with devices that support Android 6.0 or higher.

247 USA participated in CES2016 and has received huge interest among foreign buyers from the US, Germany and France.‘VOLT CASE’ has also begun crowdfunding in the US. In Korea, products and services are currently being discussed with KT and the case is slated for launch in the second half of 2016.

247 VOLT that received global attention won the special award at last year’s IWIS (International Warsaw Invention Show) and participated in the Las Vegas CES in January 2016, recording a total of 6.7 million views for the 247 VOLT news interview in the US. It has thus been receiving a high level of interest.
