LG launched the first 84 inch ultra definition TV

Today, LG launched 84 inch (213 cm) ultra definition TV. The biggest in the world, they are saying. This TV has 4 times bigger resolution from the full HD TV, thanks to the Triple XD engine.

It has fascinating resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, and the technology named "Resolution Upscaler Plus" enables the pictures from other sources, like Internet or hard drives, to be screened with maximum details. The screen has support for 4K, which is more advanced picture format.
Havis Kwon, the chief executive of LG Electronics Home Entertainment, said:"The 4K display market is still in its infancy but it was important for LG to claim a stake in this space."

Also, with the LG 3D UD TV comes the latest Magic Remote remote controller, with additional functions, such as Voice Recognition, Wheel, Magic Gesture and Pointing, and users can access LG Smart TV ecosystem, which comprises over 1400 applications.

Many of the experts are saying that the price tag of 25 million von ($22,000) is way to high for this product to have success on the market and thus making LG chances to challenge market leader Samsung very little.
