Free internet in London during the Olympics

Great news for all the people who will go to the 2012 Olympic Games in London. During the Olympics Wi-Fi will be free!

More precisely, the agreement between the city authorities and operator O2 resulted with a free internet for all users, regardless of who is their provider.


Project costs are fully covered by O2, who will use this targeted advertising to recover the costs.


In order to use it, you must be registered and the Internet will be free during the Olympics.


Since the end of July, and also till the end of the Olympics, 80 underground stations also will offer free wireless internet.


The city authorities say that these projects will help the long-term project with who London wants to become  "one of the most technology-friendly cities in the world."
